Privacy Policy for Dailio App
This Privacy Policy describes how Dailio ("we", "our", or "us") handles your personal information when you use the Dailio Android mobile application. Your privacy is fundamental to our design: Dailio operates as a 100% offline, on-device application with zero remote server tracking.
1. Information Collection and Use
Dailio is designed to function locally on your Android device without requiring user account creation, registration, or login credentials. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal identity, contact lists, location, or telemetry to any remote server.
User-Generated App Data
When you use Dailio, you may input data across the following modules:
- Routine Schedules: Routine titles, descriptions, start/end times, repeat schedule types (daily, weekdays, specific dates), and alarm preferences.
- Todo List & Tasks: Task names, notes, completion status, due dates, priority levels (high, medium, low), and categories.
- Notes & Ideas: Personal saved notes, memo titles, and text contents.
- Expense Tracker: Amount entries, expense or income classification, dates, and descriptions.
- Shopping & Habit Logs: Shopping list item checklists and habit completion daily logs.
2. Android Device Permissions & Usage
To deliver accurate routine alarms, notifications, and lock-screen alerts, Dailio requests specific Android system permissions. Below is the full explicit breakdown of every permission requested in accordance with Google Play Developer Policies:
Used solely to post notification banners and alarm alert popups when your scheduled routines are due.
Required to schedule precise routine alarms at exact user-specified minutes (e.g., 7:30 AM) using Android AlarmManager API.
Used exclusively to restore and reschedule active routine alarms after you restart or reboot your Android device.
Required to ensure alarm ringtones play reliably and display the alarm stop sheet even when the app is in the background or the screen is locked.
Allows the application to light up the device screen when a scheduled routine alarm triggers so you can view and stop the alarm immediately.
3. Data Storage & Security
All user data created inside Dailio is stored locally inside the app's private internal storage directory on your Android device (utilizing an encrypted SQLite database via sqflite).
Because your data never leaves your device, it is secured by your Android operating system's built-in application sandboxing and device lock mechanisms (PIN, pattern, fingerprint, or facial recognition).
4. Third-Party Sharing & Ad Services
We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your data with any third-party companies, advertisers, or data brokers.
- No Google Analytics or third-party tracking SDKs integrated.
- No advertising networks (e.g. AdMob) gathering user behavioral profiles.
- No external server sync or cloud backup transmission.
5. Data Deletion & User Control
You maintain full control over all data stored within Dailio:
Individual Item Deletion
You can swipe or tap to delete specific routines, todos, notes, or expense entries at any time directly in the app interface.
Complete Data Erasure
Uninstalling Dailio or clearing app storage in Android Settings > Apps > Dailio > Storage > Clear Data permanently erases all database records from your device.
6. Children's Privacy & Support Contact
Dailio is a general audience productivity application. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from children under 13.
